Los pacientes de c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata suelen ser tratados con terapias hormonales de deprivaci\u00f3n androg\u00e9nica, pero la mayor\u00eda con el tiempo generan resistencia a estos tratamientos, evolucionando negativamente. En mi investigaci\u00f3n he generado modelos celulares que mimetizan los diferentes estadios en la evoluci\u00f3n de los pacientes en respuesta a los diferentes tratamientos. Utilizando los modelos creados estoy estudiando porque se genera esa resistencia y la respuesta a otros tratamientos. Con esta investigaci\u00f3n pretendemos acercarnos a una aproximaci\u00f3n terap\u00e9utica m\u00e1s eficaz para los pacientes de c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Mecanismos de resistencia a las terapias hormonales en c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Los pacientes de c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata suelen ser tratados con terapias hormonales de deprivaci\u00f3n androg\u00e9nica, pero la mayor\u00eda con el tiempo generan resistencia y dejan de responder. En mi investigaci\u00f3n he generado modelos celulares que mimetizan los diferentes estadios en la evoluci\u00f3n de los pacientes. Utilizando estos modelos estoy estudiando porque se genera esa resistencia y la respuesta a otros tratamientos, lo que permitir\u00eda acercarnos a una mejor aproximaci\u00f3n terap\u00e9utica.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>Breve explicaci\u00f3n sobre c\u00f3mo su trabajo contribuye a construir un futuro mejor.
