This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you in a clear and precise manner about the personal data processing activities carried out by CENTRO DE ESTUDIOS PARA EL FOMENTO DE LA INVESTIGACION CEFI FUNDACION PRIVADA (hereinafter, “CEFI”), within the framework of its website https://cefi.es/ (hereinafter, the “Website”), so that users may know, among other matters, how and for what purposes their personal data are processed and how they may exercise their rights in relation thereto.

How do we use your information?
CEFI, on the basis of Article 6 of the GDPR and in compliance with a prior contract based on the consent of the owner of the personal data and the existing obligations derived from such contract, processes personal data for the following purposes:

Marketing of the products and services offered on the Website for the performance of the General Terms and Conditions;

Responding to your queries, complaints or requests for information submitted on the basis of your consent granted by sending your query, complaint or request for information. Such consent may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal; however, it will make it impossible for CEFI to process your request, query or complaint.
To whom do we disclose your information?
The following disclosures of users’ personal data are foreseen to companies providing messaging, postal, IT and accounting services.
Service providers to the CEFI Foundation shall act as data processors and shall act in strict compliance with the instructions of the CEFI Foundation and with full respect for personal data protection regulations. Data will not be disclosed to other persons and confidentiality will be respected in its processing. No national or international data transfers will be carried out. Data will be kept as long as there is a mutual interest in maintaining the purpose of the processing and will be deleted with due security to ensure pseudonymization and total destruction when no longer necessary for such purpose.
For how long do we retain your data?
Personal data relating to product purchases and/or the contracting of services shall be retained for as long as necessary to manage such purchases.
Furthermore, insofar as the user has created a user account, their data will be retained until the user deletes such account or exercises their right to erasure as set out in the section “Users’ rights”.
Personal data provided in the context of a query, complaint or request for information shall be retained for as long as necessary to manage it.
Notwithstanding the above, CEFI may retain personal data thereafter, duly blocked, for as long as necessary to comply with any legal obligations to which it may be subject or to address any liabilities that may arise from the processing of such data.
What are your rights?
Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and restriction of processing by writing to CEFI at the postal address indicated in the header or by email at info@cefi.es, indicating their full name and attaching a copy of their ID card, passport or equivalent document proving their identity.
They also have the right to withdraw their consent at any time by sending an email to info@cefi.es or to the postal address indicated at the beginning. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.
Likewise, users have the right to request protection from the Spanish Data Protection Agency by submitting a complaint through its website aepd.es.
