In accordance with the provisions of Article 10 of Law 34/2002 of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (hereinafter, the “LSSI”), we hereby inform you that the website https://cefi.es/ (hereinafter, the “Website”) is operated by CENTRO DE ESTUDIOS PARA EL FOMENTO DE LA INVESTIGACIÓN CEFI FUNDACIÓN PRIVADA (hereinafter, “CEFI”), with Tax ID No. G-08793499, registered in the Registry of the Ministry of Education, Social Policy and Sport under registration number 115, with registered office at Pío XII, 49 Loft 1, 28016 Madrid, Spain.
2. Use of the Website
This Legal Notice (hereinafter, the “Legal Notice”) establishes the conditions governing the use of the information society services made available by CEFI to Internet users through the Website.
Matters relating to the processing of users’ personal data arising from the use of the Website are regulated in the Privacy Policy.

Access to and use of the Website implies that the user (hereinafter, the “User”) fully accepts and undertakes to comply with this Legal Notice, the Privacy Policy, the Cookies Policy, as well as any instructions or recommendations indicated in each specific case through the Website.
Access to the Website is free of charge, except for the cost of connection through the telecommunications network provided by the access provider contracted by the User.
CEFI reserves the right to make modifications and updates to the Website and its contents, configuration and presentation, including this Legal Notice, at any time and without prior notice. We therefore recommend reading it before each access and navigation of the Website. Any modification will be indicated by means of a pop-up notice. CEFI will make these conditions available in a visible and freely accessible location.

3. Intellectual and Industrial Property

The reproduction of Website contents for profit or commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. 4. Limitation of Liability
CEFI applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure an adequate level of security. In this regard, CEFI properly manages its server environment, maintaining a strict firewall infrastructure and continuously using current technologies to ensure that the confidentiality and privacy of information are not compromised.
The User acknowledges and accepts that use of the Website is carried out at their own risk and responsibility. Accordingly, CEFI shall not be liable for improper or unlawful use of the Website. CEFI shall only be liable for damages suffered by the User as a result of using the Website where such damages are due to willful misconduct by CEFI.
In particular, but without limitation, CEFI shall not be liable for:

CEFI acts as an intermediary service provider pursuant to Article 17 of the LSSI and shall only be liable for the contents and services of Linked Sites if it has effective knowledge of their illegality and has not acted diligently to remove or disable the link.
The existence of Linked Sites does not imply that CEFI has knowledge of, endorses or approves their contents or services. CEFI shall not be liable for the contents, terms of use or privacy policies of Linked Sites, which Users must review and accept at their own responsibility.
Any person wishing to establish a link to the Website must obtain prior written authorization from CEFI. Any link must be made to the Website’s homepage.
6. General Provisions
Use of the Website is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising between the User and CEFI shall be submitted to the competent courts and tribunals in accordance with applicable legislation.
If any provision of this Legal Notice is declared null or partially invalid, it shall be withdrawn or replaced, without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
